Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy (born April 16th 1996) was born in Miami Florida. A half English mixed with Spanish She is the child of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. She is an Argentinean who has Scottish, English and Argentinean heritage. Her mother is of Spanish as well as English descent. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five children, four come from her father's previous marriage. They were initially from Buenos Aires, but moved to Victoria as Taylor-Joy reached the age of six. Taylor-Joy stated she was difficult and that she was unable to study English because she hoped to go back to Argentina. Hill House became her school preference after she was ordered to move schools. After that, she was enrolled at Queen's Gate School, where she learned dance and participated in plays. Then she dropped out of high school when she was 16 in order to pursue an acting career. Taylor-Joy has always known she wanted to become an actor. Her dream was granted a chance by Sarah Doukas founder of Storm Management she offered her the opportunity to model.
