Kelly Clarkson, an American singer-songwriter and actress who won the American Idol competition in its first season, became America's Sweetheart. Not only was the win that catapulted Kelly Clarkson into the limelight and fortune, but it also secured her an agreement to RCA Records 19 Recordings & S Records to release a variety of albums. Since then, she's released many recordings from her studio. Three have reached the US Billboard 200 charts while other albums were just a hair away. Her name is one of the most popular artists who are emerging from American Idol. After achieving success, she experimented with different topics and styles of music, often singing with her partner in line to her own personal experiences. As a result of her uniqueness and skill as a performer her work was recognized by reviewers and was awarded a couple of notable award. She's been honored with the Grammy Award 3 times. In addition, she has appeared on film and television. She also wrote the kids' novel River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and has been involved in a variety of charitable organisations.
