Angela Sun

Angela Sun, an American journalist and TV sportscaster, as well as documentary film maker. Angela Sun was born on October 19, 1979, at Santa Clara County California. She has won awards for her work as a journalist sportscaster producer and actress. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in sociology and communication at the University of California. Sun was a pro at surfing. After participating in a few pro-am surfer contests, she was offered sponsorship by Roxy Reef Billabong Vans and other big brands. The recognition she got due to this fact was like a slingshot that launched her into the entertainment business. She later worked as an actress, sportscaster, investigative filmmaker, journalist and reporter. Sun has been a reporter for several news outlets, but mostly in the role of anchor. She was a reporter for Fox Sports Net as a reporter in 2003. The show she hosted in 2012 was American Ninja Warrior, alongside Matt Iseman. Sun hosts The Yahoo Sports Minute from between 2014 and 2015. Sun is the first Asian-American person to be a part of ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports and Tennis Channel. Sun was a part of a number of movies, and her skills as an actor have been praised and lauded. She's worked in films like Goliath (2016, Hit the Floor 2014-2016), A Perfect Getaway 2009) Shackled, Street Kings 2008 and Glowsticks and Drumsticks 2004. Sun has produced and directed Platic Paradise, The Great Pacific Garbage Patch in 2014.
