Allison Janney

AllisonAllison Brooks Janney, born on the 19th November in 1959 [2] in America is an American actress. Her appearances on screen and the stage have been a hallmark of her career which spans over three decades. Janney has been awarded numerous awards like the Academy Award, a British Academy Film Award along with an Golden Globe Award, and seven Primetime Emmy Awards, in addition to nominations for the two Tony Awards. Janney was born and raised within Dayton and Boston by her parents received a scholarship from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art for her to study further after graduation from Kenyon College. Janney has been credited with numerous small, infrequent television and film appearances in the past. Her most famous part in the role of C. J. Cregg on the NBC show The West Wing (1999-2006) brought her four Primetime Emmy Awards. Because of her character Margaret Scully, a Showtime actress on The period-based drama Masters of Sex, Janney took home her 2014 Primetime Emmy Award as Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series.
