Shari Headley

Her role as Lisa McDowell, a romantic comedy film about a journey to America (1988) and its sequel Coming 2 America (2021) is her most well-known role. Headley was also seen in The Preacher's Wife (1996) and Johnson Family Vacation (2004). Headley played Detective Mimi Reed on ABC's daytime soap series All My Children from 1991-1994. Headley was also the star of the Fox drama series 413 Hope St. (1997-1998) and received nominations for the NAACP Image Award as Outstanding Actress in Drama Series. From 2014 until the year 2016, Headley was a villain in the role of Jennifer Sallison in the Oprah Winfrey Network primetime soap series The Haves and the Have Nots.
